[Theme: Esplanade] Full Posts To Excerpts?

Hi there.

I’m using Esplanade and have it set up on a test site so that it shows 4 posts before heading into grid/excerpt for the remaining 6 posts showing on the page (10 in total).

My question is, is it possibly to show the first 4 posts in full and have the back 6 remain showing as an excerpt?

The functions page does have two different excerpt length calls – one for the first X number of posts and another for the grid, but I cannot figure out how to get the first set of posts to display in full.
