    Hi,

I am trying to get my drop down menus to work.

I created a Page called “Past Photos” with 3 Pages under it as a parent.

When I go to my website, it only shows the parent page in the navigation.

Under the Menus option in my WordPress, if I select to add the additional pages, it shows them independent from the parent, and not nested under it in a drop down form.

How do I get it to go in a drop down list?

    Thanks

    Well done.

Can you tell us what you did? I’m having the same issue. Also can’t figure out how to add an archives page (though I suppose that’s sort of another issue.)

Ok, For other people wondering, I stumbled onto the solution. It’s a simple one, you’ll be happy to know. ?? While in your “Menus” section, simply drag the category you would like to put in the drop down menu to the right. It will now be included inside a dropdown menu within whatever category you have above it. For example:

    Hands
    Fingers
    Thumbs

In this example, on your main page, when you hover over “hands” the dropdown menu will appear with the “Fingers” and “Thumbs” options.

    Don’t forget to hit “save”.

Aaaaand… the formatting deleted my extra spaces. Sigh.

    Ok, it’ll look like this:

    Hands
    __Fingers
    __Thumbs

Are you guys using the pro version? I still can’t get it to work:( Tried choosing parent pages and categories, but the menus don’t become drop-down but just normal menus.

in the page and category overview it looks like Jewel has shown with Hands, fingers, thumbs.

The menu works just like in every other theme. The drop-down items need to be under their “parent” element and indented to the right – as JewelD explained.

Lol like everyone else here I just figured it out.

Maybe it was what JewelD was trying to say but I misunderstood.
In the actual menu window where you have the “boxes” with pages, categories and so on, on the left and the menu “overview box” to the right. You have to first add what you want in the menus, and then you drag a page “onto” another.

I now see that this is what JexelD also explained:)
