attach selected to post not visible in media browser…

  • The ability to attach multiple checked images to the post is missing meaning there’s no way to attach images without actually inserting them into the post text.

    We’ve used FG on 15+ sites and we use the function file_gallery_shortcode() to accurately control templates so clients can’t mess up the way the site looks as easily.

    Is this going to be fixe anytime soon?

    @jynk: this turned out to be “a bit” more difficult to implement than I thought.

    I’m really sorry it’s not fixed yet, but I’m just one guy and I can’t dedicate as much time to File Gallery as I used to :/

    I’ve managed to find some tutorials and bits and pieces of code I can use, but it’s not done yet.

    I really don’t want to give any estimates, but, hopefully, next weekend, perhaps, maybe…? o.O

    No worries! Would be great to get it fully working with 3.5+ but completely understand you have other stuff to get on with.

    until a new update is available via WordPress updates, please look for updates on File Gallery’s GitHub page.

    the current beta version has the ability to attach files from media library.

    This seems to be better (thanks) but theres a js error after editing an item from the gallery –
    TypeError: ‘undefined’ is not an object (evaluating ‘ed.id’), file-gallery.js:236
