keywords with hyperlink

    Hello,
    For a few days now I am having the following problem:
    When I enter certain words like ‘education’, ‘registration’, these words are automatically hyperlinked and shown in different color and when I move onto them an ad of an educational institution appears.
    I found this also on this website under ‘Password Reset’ where this also happened to the words ‘the email” and ‘your”.
    How do I get rid of these unwanted links to some kind of unwanted ads?
    Ideas are greatly appreciated!

  • There is adcode that does exactly that. Are you sure the theme is clear of extra ad code? Are there any advertising or text-link-ads plugins installed?

    The other possibility is that spyware on your local machine can do this. Do you see it on multiple sites you visit, or just on your own site?

    Looks like a local browser or PC issue. Try checking your website on another browser and then on another PC.
