404 page is there but my WP2.0 returns another 404-page ?

    Hi all

    I’ve got a WP 2.0 installation. Just reinstalled yesterday to fix my problem, but no sucess.

    Suddenly my custom 404-page doesn’t return when hitting nonexisting links. In other words the 404-page does not work.

    Instead of my custom 404-page, antoher 404-page is returned. I’ve edited every 404-page on my site, but I can’t find the one that s returned on my site.

    Can someone guide me to a solution, how to get my custom 404-page back ?

    Note the text in my sidebar, top right, about searching a category. What on earth is happening ?? ???

    Figured it out. I think this must be a bug ??? If I change my permalink-structure (dont do that ?? ) then my 404-page stops working and my WP2.0 starts using my search.php instead of my 404.php.

    Changed back, sadly, but I’ll leave it at what it is now.
