Email notification after file upload?

  • Hi everyone,
    I am looking for a way to receive an email notification after a file hes been uploaded in wordpress. Does anyone know if there is a plugin which allows this, or is there another way without me having to adjust the hard code?

    Nevermind, I hardcoded the mailroutine in upload.php and everything works fine.
    I’d rather had a kind of plugin though ??

    can you tell us how you did this? or is there a plugin to do this now? I can’t find one anywhere. I have a site I am working on where once people register for a login, they’ll be able to upload images to be featured on the site, but I need to be able to have some sort of notification when a photo is uploaded so that I am not just logging into my FTP all the time to see if anything new is there…
