• Resolved LCGDesign

    (@lcgdesign)

    I’m completely new to wordpress and I’m trying to get a simple portfolio site together.
    I have an issue with the slider not showing and have been searching on how to resolve the issue. I might be missing some code from my footer.

    I’m using the ‘boldy’ theme and don’t seem to be able to edit the footer directly. I’ve tried adding code in the available footer box but it makes no difference.

    Any advice would be great, thanks.

    Update:

    I found the editor, it appears to have the correct code but then I know nothing ??

    <div id=”site5bottom”>Created by Site5 WordPress Themes. Experts in WordPress Hosting.</div>
    </div>
    <!– END COPYRIGHT –>
    </div>

    </div>
    </footer>
    <!– END FOOTER –>
    </div>
    <!– END MAINWRAPPER –>
    <?php wp_footer(); ?>
    </body>
    </html>

    There is no slider code found on the page. It may be that your theme strips out shortcodes for certain sections of the site. I would contact the support of that particular theme to inquire about that issue.

    Thanks for the quick feedback Thomas, did you check the logos page?
