• Good morning,

So at work I have been asked if it is possible to complete a web assignment for job statuses within an electric company.

Basically what the ideal way of working would be…

The individual customers will be able to log in (it’s a standard about 30 repeating customers, so we can insert their credentials/log in) and submit a request for extending electricity to their property. So step-by-step:
    1. They’ll log in, and be redirected to their own personal page.
    2. Here they will be able to see the status of past projects, OR – be able to post a new project.
    3. If they post a new project, they’ll simply click a link which will lead to a form that the customer must fill out. They fill it out, click submit, and it’ll post to where the rest of their projects are.
    4. Basically, the main page (after log in) will just consist of all the projects/jobs that they have existing with us for electricity; however, ONLY their jobs. Other companies will have their individual credentials to see their own particular jobs. This is a standard, as this information is confidential to opposing companies.

So that’s basically it, however, it may be too much for anything existing on WordPress. But if anyone has an idea how it could be implemented and not take too long (I have to return to college in a couple weeks and have limited time and other tasks to work on while here), so like a week or so, please let me know.

As well, we will have the ability to edit the individual projects/jobs and/or update the status to how far along they are until completion.

As far as the individual pages, I feel that WordPress already probably offers a feature for when a user is created, they have the ability to only view certain pages? I’m not sure though.
