Autosave Issue – Preview and Publish ends up in 403 Error

  • The Stats:

    WordPress 3.4.2 on Linux server. Twentyeleven child theme. Everything works like a charm.

    The Problem:

    I don′t know since when but with the 3.4.2 it first caught my attention that the Autosave interval setting (to: 900) in my wp-config.php seems to be ignored. WP is making autosaves after a couple of settings and in Firefox that′s not causing any problems, it′s showing me that there might be an autosave that′s more recent than the version I′m working on right now. Kind of annoying but that doesn′t ruin my life so far.

    However in Chrome I′m getting a 430 Forbidden Error when I preview or save a post that seems to have a newer autosave version.

    (Also when searching for plugins internally but not every time??)

    Can anyone confirm that issue and is there a way to fix that?
