Theme editor shows blank window (w/screenshot)

When I go into the theme editor, all I get is a blank window with no code in it. Here is a screenshot so you can see what I’m talking about.
This happens with all my installed themes. The themes display fine on my blog’s homepage, but I can’t edit the files. What could cause this? And more importantly, what can I do about it? I can probably edit the files in Notepad or something, but I’d really like to have this feature working.
FWIW, I just installed WordPress 2 yesterday.
