Events widget displays details of event but not location?

Yes it is. The provided templates do not include any venue information. But you can simply copy them to your theme and edit them there (see https://www.harriswebsolutions.co.uk/event-organiser/documentation/editing-the-templates/).

For your specific question:

• eo_get_venue_address() (see this page) – returns an array
• eo_get_venue_map() – not documented yet will be shortly. Example usage when used inside the Loop:
  echo eo_get_venue_map( eo_get_venue());

Once 1.6 is released I’ll be making sure that all available functions are documented (as well the various hooks available).
