    I love this plugin so far but I had a wee feature request:

    A page that lists all venues in the system as well as a Google Map showing pins on each known venue so that users can see if there are any venues near them.

    This would be unbelievably useful for me.

    Also, the ability to allow unregistered users of the blog to submit an event that doesn’t appear until an admin checks it and gives it the okay would be great.

    Oh, one more while I’m posting – is there a simple way to display a list of Event Categories (e.g. Music Concert, Comedy Show, Corporate) that people can click on so that they can view all events of that category. This list would be pulled from the list of categories from the admin panel so that it doesn’t need to be updated manually each time a new category is made.

    I have been trying to get a page to display all the venues, what shortcode is required for this?

    Also when I add the venue after the above URL it displays the next event date for that venue.

    What I would like to be able to see is the address and map for a particular venue being accessible once you select an upcoming event from the event widget and/or accessible from the venues page.

    It seems strange that we have created a list of venues in the plugin, then created events and linked them to the venue, yet the venue is not visible when we select the event?

    Venues are just a taxonomy – and WP doesn’t provide a taxonomy archive in the sense of listing taxonomy terms, but you can create a custom page which does so (for example: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/73271/list-of-taxonomy-archive-index-page-links ).

    As for multiple venues on a Google map – this will be possible in **1.6** (due in the next few days, shortly after WP 3.5 is released). See this page for more information.

    Regarding front-end posting, it’s already possible: see this blog post.

    And your last request – is fairly similar to the one about listing venues – again its just listing taxonomy terms. See the above link :).

    Awesome, thanks for the help! I’ll try to wrap my head around this Taxonomy stuff now.

    Can’t wait for the big Google Map venue view. Version 1.6 is looking amazing.
