Organizing pages and urls in wordpress

There is a site I will be working on that will require that the page urls look something life this:

https://www.somesite.com/subject-one/related-page-name-here.html

https://www.somesite.com/subject-two/related-page-name.html

Is this done by using the permalinks? And is this available for pages as well as posts?
