I am trying to generate an RSS feed of all the addresses in a condo listing site I am building to a google map. I cannot figure out how to get a clean feed of all addresses. Any help is appreciated.

  • It might be easier having the Condos as a Custom Post Type rather than a taxonomy and then having the address (& co-ordinates) as custom meta fields.

+1 to what Steve Jones said.

CPTs will give you the option of creating your own meta boxes and generally controlling the input more.

I’ve done something similar already on a site: https://www.wherethetruck.at
If you’ve still got questions regarding implementation, post them and maybe I can shed light.

There’s some good locations plugins available already (which could use as a base), I’d check codecanyon too.

Hi all. Thank you for the replies. I have been off of this project for a while, but am now ready to wrap it up. Jibbius, I took a look at your site and this is exactly what I am trying to do.

I have 350+ condos on the site as a CPT “Condos” they have a taxonomy “Address” that I am trying to link to a Google map that will display all of them. I have looked at some plugins and have one going (Mappress) that allows me to create Maps in each Condo.

ANy guidance would be greatly appreciated. (Love Melbourne BTW!)
