Option to not include excluded pages?

I’m using the plugin Exclude Pages from Navigation to exclude certain pages from my navigation. It works with the Suffusion theme sitemap, so I’m guessing that it is working in a standard way, and I wondered if it was possible to have an option with your short codes to not include pages that have bee excluded from navigation.
