• The directory …..wp-content/uploads is where the error shows up. Do i need to make it CHMOD 777 in order to do so? I just want to verify before I actually go ahead and do this.

  • There are obviously problems with the way WP is trying to create folders. There are several threads on this topic. In order for me to use image uploading successfully, I had to create a folder in wp-content called “uploads” then inside that a “2006” and then inside that “01, 02, 03, … 12” for the months. All of them are chmod 777… that seems to work, although somewhat manual…

    Ok thanks. I just chmod 777 the uploads folder and it seems to work ok.
