Displaying widget only on category archive page and not on category posts page

    I’m not sure if we have the same problem. In my case, widgets which have been selected to be shown on category pages also shown up on categorised single post pages.

    I commented lines 52 to 63 in display-widgets.php and the widgets behave the way I expect the to.
