New Content Not Showing Up

  • New content that I’ve added, i.e., posts, Adsense,etc. show up when I “visit site” via the dashboard, but when I go to the actual URL I don’t see the most recently added content. It was added two days ago.

    Anybody out there have an idea what might be going on?

  • Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

    Also disable/deactivate any caching plugin(s).

    I deactivated the WP Super Cach plugin and pressed CTRL and F5 when I viewed the site via the dashboard and the URL itself. I didn’t see any noticeable effect.

    I’m using a different computer than the one I’ve downloaded WP on – should that make any difference?

    I worked with support at the site’s hosting company – HostGator, and they told me I don’t even have caching enabled on my site.
