difference between RSS feeds

  • What’s the difference between the following feeds:

    RSS Feed
    “>RSS Feed

    I received an e-mail complaining the last feed gives the following error:
    Unknown URL schema. Only http; and file: are supported.

    I have found that it works okay in my Windows registered OmeaReader (just clicking the link), however if i copy&paste the url into another (unregistered) reader it includes ‘feed:’ and hence it deals to an error.
    Now, if I click the link on another computer with an unregistered old Reader installed I get ‘The page cannot be displayed’error’.
