Files with international characters in name not backed up

  • Im testing BackWPup and found that files with international characters in name are not backed up. I’m getting an error saying that the files are not readable.

    In the log the offending character is displayed as +?

    In my language letters like áéyúíó áéYúíó T?D? t?e? are used so we get a lot of filenames like áfangaskyrsla.pdf

    Any solution to this problem?

  • Files with polish characters are backup ?????ń?ó??????ó, but the names of files are changed, for example ? > ??
