    Sorry about all the posts, seem to be having quite a lot of difficulty with semiologic. Upon the semiologic 3.2 / wp 2.0 install, the 2 pages installed where home and about. About displayed error like this:
    =====================================================
    OK
    The document has moved here.

    Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/1.3.33 Server at site.com Port 80
    ======================================================
    where “here” above points to the very link that did not work in the first place: https://site.com/blog/?page_id=3

    Originally, the page ID was 2, I deleted it and then added it to see if that would help, but it did not.

    Also, if I create any more pages, they do not even display on the blog as links, and if I go to [manage > pages] then view a created page, I get the same error described above.

    Once again, a wp 2.0 install with the regulus theme worked perfectly in this area.

    Any thoughts about this one?

    Thanks once again.

  • make sure your .htaccess file is writable by the server

    then visit options > permalinks, and update the options to force a .htaccess refresh

    That made the links work now, very cool, thanks!

    One lingering problem, I created another page and when I go to manage pages, and view that page, the link works fine now from the manage page view, however, the link does not appear along side home | about in the orange bar in the blog.

    Thanks again.

    Was wondering what was going to happen when I messed with those. Sorry for the silly question. Of course it worked just as you said.
