Populating articles from sub sites to the main site.

  • I have set up a multisite sit network, I need to be able to populate the main site from the sub-sites according to the category.
    For instance my main site is called https://www.mainsite.com. Then I have few sub-sites, such as
    sports.mainsite.com,
    Business.mainsite.com,
    Cinema.mainsites.com

    I want to know who I can populate my https://www.mainsite.com from the post of these sub-sites according to the category. So for instance, in main site I have 3 categories, called sports, business, cinema. So I want to populate the sports from sports.mainsite.com, so and so.

    I have seen may networks set up like this. So I know it can be done. can anybody tell me how to do this?
