So I finally got my site up and running on a local server for testing via MAMP. Everything seemed to work fine. I see the home page. However, when I click on links from the home page, I keep getting a 404 error “The requested URL /remosa/site/filename was not found on this server.”

For now I have the WP install in its own folder named “site” within the company folder “remosa”. Both the URL and WP Url are set to
    https://localhost:8888/remosa/site within the General Settings.

Any ideas without seeing the site? I feel like I am probably missing a step.

    Thanks.

Have you tried going to the “Settings->Permalinks” page in the WP admin? Try that and post back here if that helps.

Thank you so much! Resetting the permalinks worked.

(Sorry for the delay in responding – was away for a few days.)
