Multilanguage plugins and WordPress SEO

Hi,
I have been using qTranslate multilanguage mgmt plugin on several sites. I now want to use it on another site where I already use WordPress SEO plugin. How can I make the 2 work together ? It seems the language tags do not work on the title tag.
please advise if they are compatible.
