Feature Requests and Scroll Up Related Posts question

Scroll Up Related Posts was an experiment where we were trying out different stuff to get higher CTRs and a bit more engaging experience, however it’s not turning out to be very successful.

1. Can we add an option to also display the related posts in the main page, and not just in posts?

Yes, probably some time in the future.

2. Related posts are also showing up in media pages–can we remove this?

Media pages? Can you provide an example?

3. Random posts don’t seem to be excluding the categories set to be excluded in the settings.

Going to be fixed in the next release.

4. Can we add an option to just display random posts instead of relating via category or tags?

Hmm I don’t know how feasible that is.

How exactly does Scroll Up Related Posts work? I understand that’s the goal but don’t know how it does it. Can’t seem to see any difference when enabling and disabling that feature.

1. Ok, cool. This is actually the one feature I want to get.
2. Media pages, like pages where uploaded pictures are. Here’s a sample (https://brideandbreakfast.ph/2012/11/09/fashion-friday-jenny-packham-aw-2013/jenny-packham-aw-2013-01/). They’re not exactly posts so they shouldn’t have related posts.
3. Will wait for this.
4. Sometimes I just want to display other posts under a post, even though they’re not really related, just random ones. Just to keep the reader looking through the archives. Was a feature in an old plugin I used before. Anyways, this isn’t a dealbreaker.
