    Future helping hand,

    My situation:
My WordPress-account is connected to my website. Yesterday I have updated my website by deleting the old one and uploading a new one. I used ftp-client and Filezilla, and I maybe deleted some BLOG documents using ftp-client? Not that I know but maybe something like that happened?

After my update the link to the BLOG on my website didn’t work anymore. After that I tried to open the BLOG via the direct link but now I got an error:
    Not Found
The requested URL /BLOG was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

So my question now is: How do I get my blog working again and get all my hours of work back? (50+ blogs)

I hope there is some holy spirit out there who can help me, you will receive unlimited karma ??

    Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the karma part, but do you have a link to your site before and after /BLOG changes? It may make it easier to figure out what you’ve done and what can fix it.

Also, don’t go nuts on tags –> it makes them less useful. ??

Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it.

https://www.royalstudents.com/ is the website, in the total right there is a BLOG button. Then you will get redirected to our WordPress.

I used to be able to login via https://royalstudents.com/BLOG/wp-admin/ but now I get the same error.

    (sorry for the tag overload)

I can see a login page at: https://www.royalstudents.com/blog/wp-admin

ie with ‘BLOG’ as lowercase ‘blog’ so the link to it on the non-wp site is currently incorrect

Yes, I’m sorry that was my mistake.

I am able to login but all my 50+ posts are gone, the only thing I see right now is the ‘Welcome this is your first post’ message.

Isn’t there a cloud or something.. where the files are saved?

Where did you install WordPress on this domain?

The host company we use (DreamHost) uses ‘one-click installs for WordPress’ which means that it automatically created a new folder.

We created a new folder called Blog inside the ‘Public map’. This is a standard procedure for the program but the problem is that when we did this it created a whole new content for the blog and everything was gone..

Do you have more than 1 copy of WordPress installed?
