Buttercream Theme Seems Not To Work With Pinterest Plugins

    Hey Caroline,

    Was wondering if you’d gotten any other news about this theme not seeming to function correctly when trying to incorporate a WordPress to Pinterest plugin? I’ve tried Digg Digg and WP Pinterest and both provide the same in correct action. Instead of capturing the actual image on the page it just shows some color, and when trying to perform the actual submit, nothing happens in the way of sending an image, any image, to Pinterest. And the same thing happens on both plugins. The chrome javascript extension does seem to work in capturing the images on the page, but of course we can’t assume everyone is using a browser plugin, hence the desire for the WP plugin to Pinterest.

    Hmm, I haven’t heard about anything. The theme is pretty basic in terms of function, so I doubt it’s interfering with a plugin, but I would try activating the default themes (maybe Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve) to rule out a theme-specific issue. Also, deactivate any other plugins to rule out a plugin conflict.

    Hmmm, real conundrum. Activated the default theme, and deactivate all plugins minus one of the Pinterest plugins. Same action.

    So, clearly, Buttercream is in the clear. Yay for Buttercream! Boo for the pinterest plugins.

    Must be one of the WPMS network-wide plugins. But that’s for tomorrow. ??

    I’ll mark this as resolved since it cannot be your theme causing the challenge.
