Carousel not working, jpg image appears, not slideshow

I installed Jetpack activated Carousel.
Created a Post for a photo gallery in Brick And Mason theme (https://themeforest.net/item/brick-mason-premium-photography-and-blog-theme/245497).
In HTML mode, I added [gallery link="file"] and in Visual mode clicked top left icon and added photos in Media.
