Feedback button does not show in IE!

What IE version did you use? Usernoise does not support IE6 and IE7, but should work fine in IE8+

How did you manage to display the button on your site in IE8. I just tested on my site and the button does not appear on IE8 but it appears with IE8 if I go to your website.
By cons on my site if I use FIREFOX, everything works fine.

Have you been handling?

I’m using WP 3.4.1 with the theme GRAPHENE.

Hello! Probably, it is a conflict with something in your theme code. I will only be able to tell if I’ll see the site.

It will be difficult because the site is an internal site for a company. I do not have the ability to open access. Maybe you can give me some leads on things to check.

I just uninstall it and again install it and it worked. Hope this will work for you.

Just a common troubleshooting – try to switch to a standard theme for a couple of minutes. If it will not help – disable other plugins one by one. You’ll find a suspect that way. Then, the only way to resolve the problem completely is to review and debug all the javascript code.

Btw, number one suspect is a theme – some of them load old jQuery versions or do that in some non-standard manner, and jQuery is required by Usernoise.

I come to you because I just try to disable all plugins and unfortunately nothing new appears. I checked the code in the head. Everything is ok on this side.
What seems surprising is that it works normally FIREFOX as IE 8.0 18.0.1 does not work.

I noticed that in I.E. if you change the “compatibility VIEW” the feedback tab on the left of the screen disappears.
You can change it to see what happens!

Nothing changes. I added then remove the compatibility mode but to no avail. The window does not appear.

This is really frustrating because we love this plugin but now there is that IE8.

Actually I have IE9. I am not sure about IE8. but my problem solved just by clicking the “compatibility view” icon next to url bar!

Usernoise does not work in IE7 and 6 by design. If you force a “compatibility” mode (by clicking the button or declaring it at the site header) – your IE8 becomes IE7 from technical point of view, and Usernoise cant work on it, and probably it is what happened in your case.

I received a feedback but when I click on feedback link its opening view windows (View Feedback window) but nothing is displaying in that. Its blank. Please advise how to resolve this issue.

Steps:

1. UserNoise showing 1 (On my web site – wordpress siet)
2. Clicked on UserNoise
3. Page is getting open with header “Feedback”
4. Can see one Feedback (Type: Idea) feed name “XYZ”.
5. Clicked on Feedback XYZ
6. Page with header “View page” is getting open but cant see anything else on that page.
Please advise.

FYI: I am not using UserNoise Pro.
