MY ADMIN PAGE HAS GONE BLANK

  • I installed a new theme for my website and the whole page went blank. I also checked the website noblenakfoods.com and still blank as the admin page

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.

  • Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Please re-read my post above. The suggestion I made does not require you to login to your WordPress dashboard.

    You can also use a FTP like filezilla and just delete the theme. Your wordpress will default back to first theme which will resolve your blank page issue and will pop back up with login box. I know I had to delete a theme this same way for a different issue and I couldnt get into dashboard because of the current theme I had activated.

    You need to call your hosting provider and ask them to help you set up an FTP account.

    Download Filezilla
    Connect Filezilla to website (you can look on youtube which will explain this)
    Then find the file for the theme that is messing your admin up and delete it. Sounds complicated but its pretty simple once you get in.

    Hello, I am having the same issue with my login to admin area of WordPress. I did delete the themes, but that did not work. What else can I try? I do know that there were some issues yesterday when I uploaded a plugin, but not sure if that is it. Thank you for any help here.

    If you know which plugin it was… do the same thing with the plugin. Browse to the plugins directory and delete it’s folder (or rename it).

    Hi Esmi, thanks for the information given above, its resolved my complete blank out of everything to do with WordPress.
    I had up-loaded a new theme (Karma) and as soon as i activated it, i lost the lot! found it strange that i couldn’t even log into my dashboard!
    I went into Filezilla and deleted the theme and waited for about 5 minutes before i could get back into my dashboard, happy days! Thanks again!
