Geo URL

  • I want to use the Geo URL to have it put my current location on a flash picture of the globe. I don’t get where my Geo URLs are going etc.. what does it do?

    That doesn’t really tell me what to do with it though. How can I get to the values that are in my database?

    You have to add the template tags for the GeoURL information if you want to use it in your templates.

    sbakalor – it would be great if you could give us an example link of what you did with your Geo URL info. I’m using worldKit on my site and would really like to incorporate the <icbm:latitude> and <icbm:longitude> tags in the wordpress rss 2.0 feed. If that’s what you managed to do, please sure.
    Or if anyone else would know how to do this. Unfortunately I know nothing about RSS and am constantly getting xml parsing errors on my 2.0 feed. thanks.
