Problems installing wp on subdomain

    i get this error message when trying to access a new installation on subdomain.

    The requested URL /wp-admin was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

  • You can’t access wp-admin, but can you access the front-end of the site?

    try visiting /dashboard as well… another 404?

    datdesignguy… thanks forr reaching out. I’m familiar with wp and dashboard etc… but there is no access. i’ve installed on a subdomain for the first time and this is where i feel the problem is. never had this issue before.

    Do you have it setup properly would be my question. What folder do you WordPress installed in? and what is the folder structure? I didn’t really have much of an issue. Create subdomain extract to newly created folder and you should be set.
