Intergrating WordPress with my site

Hi guys, i have a website to which i would like to intergrate WordPress. I’m currently developing the site and one of the features of the site is Music & Movie Reviews. I thought the best way to do this would be to install WordPress and let the reviewers write and maintain their own part of the site.

As i said the query i have is about intergrating the wordpress part with the remainder of the site. I have a 2 column layout on my site with a navigation column on the left and main content on the right. I would like to be able to add the wordpress index page to the right column and keep it so that it fits the layout perfectly and i can keep my navigation bar. Is there an easy way to do this?

I was thinking that i might just need to get a template for wordpress that suits my needs, but i’m not 100% sure.
