@aglonwl, thanks I have added the line define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); to wp_config.php but the same error appears.
I have also sent my hosting provider a message to update the PhP Mem Limit as well. Is there something else I can do right / try right now?

adjusting your php memory limit should work; also, have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

@agelonwl it looks like several other plugins, like genesis_translations is interfering. Thanks for the suggestion. Although it means I will have to do some more homework to translate my theme into dutch.

actually your problem is that you already have 64M, probably as you have various large/memory intensive plugins (including ours). Try upgrading it to 128M and you should be able to run them together.

@marcus 64M is the max my provider allows me. I am also running a Woo commerce plugin and a photo gallery plugin. That might use all resources already?

yes, depending on the number of plugins and items being handled by each one, you may need more.

@marco. thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this website is hosted for free, sponsored by our provider, to inform about our humantarian actions for MEDECINS SANS FRONTIERES in the Netherlands, this cannot be updated. I have choosen to only have the events manager running on this website to manage the tickets for our cyclemarathon.

One other question, does the categories opties only appear in the Pro-version?

@marcus, I found the cat. option in the main site and is available in the subsite as well. So no need anymore to answer the question I had!

    hee, anytime ??
Since I think you have created this plugin, can I drop you another question here?

    (@netweblogic)

sure, but best you submit it as a new topic to save some reading/confusion ??
