Set evidence picture from plugin

I don’t know what an evidence post picture is, so I can’t say for sure. The thumbnail you generate with my plugin is registered with the WordPress database and attached to the post once you’ve inserted the video shortcode into the post and saved the post, so anything you can normally do with an image you should be able to do with the thumbnail. In the next version of the plugin you won’t have to insert the video into the post in order to get the thumbnail registered with the database.
