How to make admin bar display on page templates?

OK… I have created my own page templates (to use wordpress as a CMS).. everything is working fine although ive noticed that when im logged in, the admin bar doesnt display on the front end (by admin bar i mean where you can log out, edit page etc)..

This is not a blog theme so it isnt broken down into header.php, index.php, footer.php, single.php etc.. its basically just one .php file as a page template.. what do i have to do to make the admin bar display on the front end?
