Upgrading from Twenty Ten v1.2 to Twenty Ten v1.4

    Are there any problems upgrading from 1.2 to 1.4? One thing I noticed is ‘add_custom_background();’ has been deprecated. It is automatically udadated to ‘add_theme_support();’ or does the functions.php file need to changed manually?

    Absolutely none. You don’t have to touch anything in the theme (nor should you ever edit this theme).

    Thanks, I think I will create a ‘child’ theme. So, I will need to create a functions.php file and input ‘add_theme_support( ‘custom-header’ ); to keep their custom header correct.

    No. That will be taken care of by the parent theme.
