upgrade WordPress ftp prompt

  • I have a very ‘stock’ install of WordPress – TwentyEleven, Contact Form 7 and that’s about it. For some reason it has started refusing to upgrade without ftp details – details I don’t want to give it because that would involve setting up ftp on the server.
    Updating plugins still works fine, and WP upgrades used to work fine to, until recently.

    I’ve had a look at the file and folder permissions and it looks ok to me.

    Any ideas?
