Twenty Eleven – Moving the search box & removing the site title

I have successfully installed Twenty Eleven child theme & made a few tweaks that look great however, I am stuck at trying to move the search box. I have tweaked the code so that the header text & search box show up over the header display which is where I want the search box to appear. I have successfully positioned it where I need it to be, However, I can’t get rid of the text! I can’t imagine that there is no way to modify that text. Am I missing something? If I remove the header through the cPanel option, then the search box moved into my top navigation & I can’t find a way to move it out.
