• I tried to move my wordpress from one folder on my server to another folder. I followed the directions I found on this site, but then after I had problems because it keeps telling me “Sorry, you need to enable sending referrers for this feature to work.” I follwed everything listed about how to enable sending referrers, but nothing seems to work. Now my site is stuck somewhere between those two folders. Some stuff works off the old folder, and some off the new folder. Any ideas?

  • Probably you just need to update your URLs in the options table of your database to reflect the new directory.

Thanks, I went into the options table in mysql and the “home url” and “site url” are both pointed to the folder i want. yet i’m still getting 1/2 going to the old folder. the front end stuff- on the actual site, like post links, etc. all go to the old folder. the back-end stuff, like everything under wp-admin go to the new folder. is there any other place I should look to change the urls?
