I am having the same problem. PLEASE HELP!

I think the duplicate image/ thumbnail is being created when the page is refreshed.

The instinct of most users is to refresh the page when they don’t see their thumbnail appear. But the plugin does not seem to clear the last upload out of the browser cache because when you refresh the page, you get the “Are you sure you want to send this form again?” message.

…but when you go ahead and refresh, it re-uploads the image and creates the duplicate thumbnail.

This will continue happening unless you leave the page and come back to the gallery page.

I am having the same problem. Has anybody managed to resolve this?

I don’t know why, but at my site it works:

    The shortcode for the uploader:
    [ngg_uploader id=1]

    Then it displays:
    [nggallery id=1 template=caption]

The new image will be displayed without need to reload.

I have this problem too. It would be great if a Pro version also let the uploader know that the file is uploading, to wait a moment and then to have the new picture appear in the gallery.

Sometimes my new uploads get put to the end of the gallery so they don’t seem to appear anyway to a confused uploader!

would love to see a pro version getting to grips with these problems.

Yes, this isn’t ajax powered and automatically showing the upload after done. It should be showing some sort of success/fail message though.
