Earthlink not Supporting WordPress blog

Last Weekend, after years of working well, I could suddenly not view or access my WordPress blog at https://www.sissypantybuns.com/wordpress/ –

I had previously used the bookmarked Comment Policy Page https://www.sissypantybuns.com/wordpress/?page_id=257 , which used to load quickly, to go to my blog and login. Now even when I get the login page the server drops the connection before login is complete.

I am not tech savvy and don’t understand most of the technical stuff. After contacting web-hsting support and having their engineers take a look I GOT THIS RESPONSE FROM EARTHLINK WEB-HOSTNG SUPPORT:

“Dear Valued EarthLink Customer, Thanks for contacting us. The ticket that was submitted… regarding your WordPress related issue, has returned from our investigation. We deeply apologize for inconvenience, but you are using custom WordPress installation that we unfortunately do not support. Please also be informed that your database works properly… [MySQL] Server version: 5.0.50 Source distribution… We have now closed the ticket with regards to this issue.”

This is what I get after the failure of the web-pages to load when I try to view or access my WordPress blog:

“Safari can’t open the page “https://sissypantybuns.com/wordpress/?page_id=257” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again.”

“WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]
SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘siteurl’ LIMIT 1″
