User Meta Boxes

  • I notice that the connected to/from box’s don#t show when editing a user.
    I know the user page has a whole different set of hooks etc.. but is there any way the plugin can show the metabox’s on the edit page.

    It’d be so useful if I can manage contacted users from the users edit page rather than go into every item that I need to connect…

    It would definitely be useful, but it would also be a pain to implement, given how unstructured the user screen is currently.

    If someone wants to take a whack at this, they have my full support.

    As it is currently not possible, could you state that on the wiki page for connecting posts to users (https://github.com/scribu/wp-posts-to-posts/wiki/Posts-2-Users)? It took me quite some time to find out that this was actually left out intentionally, and it might be helpful for other users to know that it was intended that way right away by just visiting the Wiki page.

    Next time, instead of asking me about it, just edit the wiki yourself; that’s why it’s called a wiki. ??
