Removing slides from slideshow

  • Hello,
    I hav scrolled though many of the topics and haven’t found this yet, sorry if it exists and I missed it.

    I initially added 13 slides to a meteor slideshow. I have educed it to 8 slides but it still shows all 13. I deleted the slideshow from the header.php and then added it again and no change.Obviously, I have also removed the check in the box of the slideshow from each of the slides I want removed first. I also emptied the cache and closed the browser just to make sure that was not the problem.
    Any direction would be appreciated.

    OK, fair enough. Warning, none of my slides are cropped to fit yet, i just wanted to see how it worked and if i wanted to use this plug-in or not. Since it will not remove slides when deleted, it now is a larger problem since I can’t delete old ones and add new cropped images.

    I only see eight slides in the header slideshow, are you sure you’re still seeing more than that?

    OK, i forgot that i changed the settings to only 8 slides from 13. The problem still exists though. One of the slides, the two bridesmaids, have been removed from this slideshow but still appear. I can change it back to 13 slides in the settings so you can see they are still visible even though they have been removed, if that will help you determine the problem.

    I think I would have to see the slide posts in the admin, to compare the admin vs public views, could you send me a login for the site?

    The problem was that the slideshow template tag wasn’t specifying a slideshow, I added the header slideshow to the tag and now it loads just the slides in that slideshow:

    You’re welcome, if you add the slides to that slideshow category, they will load in the header.
