Is it even possible to do this? I have tried for 2 hours now and followed the instructions located at https://www.wild-mind.net/archives/2004/09/12/changing-from-b2-to-wordpress/ 6 times now.. each time resulting in the same errors. It seems that WP is expecting tables that just are not in b2. Do I need to find an older version of WP (1.1 or 1.5) in order to upgrade, and then upgrade to 2.0? If so, can someone tell me where on earth I can find the older versions? I can’t seem to find them anywhere on this site. Thank you for your time.

best of luck dude… its a bit complicated but should work in the order podz has suggested… my original blog started with b2 and i am now on wp 2.0.

Hey guys, thanks for all of the advice. I just now finally got up to WP1.0.2 after finally removing the SQL command DROP TABLE wp_settings; — there was no table with that name and that’s where it kept erroring out at.

Thanks for the link to the previous versions as well, I searched around for a long time and could not find those. ??

So wouldn’t you know that I got everything working until I hit the 2.0 upgrade — everything went smoothly until I reran upgrade.php and that generated this error:

N clo
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxxxxx/public_html/moist/wp-config.php:1) in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/moist/wp-admin/upgrade.php on line 10

and now when I go to my blog I see N clo at the top of the page.. any suggestions?

Nevermind, I’m an idiot. I did a search for the error, found the problem. My config file had the N clo crap at the beginning of it. Problem solved. Thanks again guys.

I have b2 as well and am looking to upgrade to WP 2.0

There are only 5 months of posts so that shouldn’t be too bad..
