A little worrisome

I installed this plugin yesterday and it works great!
What is worrying me is why its trying to update itself from this address: https://github.com/downloads/ronakg/Awesome-Flickr-Gallery/awesome-flickr-gallery-plugin-3.3.5.zip which thankfully its failing to do . Why isn’t it uploaded to the Official WordPress Channels?
