Hi Jaspreet. While trying to define a custom value (lower) for z-index for the jcwp stt button on my site I noticed that even with a setting like #jcScrollTop {z-index: 99 !important;} in my CSS, the javascript in your code seems to do override it and the browser does not respect my important z-index. I don’t see such problems when there are html elements labeled important in my CSS with other javascript based plugins.

I was looking to lower the z-index on my jcwp stt button to be able to have the lightbox overlay cover the jcwp stt button also. I was able to work around by increasing my lighbox’s z-index, however there may be cases where I may not have that option.

Can you fix this whenever possible?

    Thanks.

This will be fixed in version 2.0 Janubande! I know what the problem is and I think when I wrote this plugin I never thought of modals to be honest with you. I will make z-index property configured from the plugin settings box. I think that will do.

Hey just a question, You have done really cool job in testing this plugin, would you mind to give my new plugin a Go!

Its Good News you will fix the z-index issue. Unfortunately I don’t have the time or need for arrow-key navigation of posts.

Hey if you want me to test a plugin like a professional tester, can you develop a slideshow plugin that is mobile friendly? I can give you proper & clearly defined software requirements the plugin will have to meet.

I’m an Ex Software Engineer, and presently a Professional Photographer & Video producer, so I know what is needed to make it work form a development, testing as well as the users perspective.

Unfortunately all options (free & for purchased) available fall short in one way or more. I’ve literally looked at over 50 different plugins for this and experimented with dozens. You can go and offer free as well as pro (for purchase) version of it & make money.

Hello Jaspreet. I’m waiting for you to fix the z-index & make it customizable. I’m now having trouble with a new plugin that displayes a modal full screen slideshow and jcwp stt shows up like a sore thumb. Here’s the link if you want to see the issue on my site.

PS….I liked your new left-right blog navigation plugin & I will try it out in my free time & let you know what I think.

    Hey JB,

version 1.4 is now available. z-index is now a configurable property. I have also added mobile and tablet detection detection support. You can now disable scroll to top to appear in phones and tables.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,
