• Hello,

    I’m new with YOAST and totally impressed. I just have a question about the site name which is always displayed on top of my posts (post title).

    I’d like to show the following in the header of my browser (title):

    BLOG TITLE | SITENAME.COM

    But the blog-title of the actual post (body) should only display the title of the blog. Right now, my blog titles looks like this:

    BLOG TITLE | SITENAME.COM

    … and I’d like to show only:

    BLOG TITLE

    … but keeping:

    BLOG TITLE | SITENAME.COM

    … in my browser title.

    Any idea how to do so? I was playing around a bit with the command-settings for articlte titles:

    %%title%% %%page%% | %%sitename%%

    But when I e.g. remove the part ? | %%sitename%%? it gets also removed in the browser site title.

    Thank you for your help.

    Kind regards

    @germinus:
    Unfortunately, you’re right – but I’ve just solved it by myself.

    @all:
    Replace <?php wp_title("",true); ?> with <?php the_title(); ?>
