Unable to update a plugin nor upload an image

  • Hi,

    I have moved my wordpress database from 1 domain to the other, I followed all the wordpress url path changes in the database.
    Now I am having a problem, I cannot upload a background image(the wordpress admin upload area won’t show the image) nor update wordpress or a plugin.

    I keep having this error:
    Download failed. Destination directory for file streaming does not exist or is not writable.

    I am working o a non propagated domain, could this be the problem?
    I still can access it from the internet without problem.

  • The problem probably exists with the permissions on the server. Try to set them so wordpress may write to the directories ( if possible ) . And check if the directories do exist as well

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply.
    The wp-config path was not set the right way and the theme image and folder paths were also wrong, after rectifying all of the above, everything worked perfectly.
