[Plugin: WP Smush.it] Images only reduced by about 2%

  • I know this is not a problem with this plugin, but rather with the Smush.it site but…

    I have used this plugin for several months and know it works well, if sometimes erratically due to access to the Smush.it site. My images are usually reduced by about 50% by Smushit. However for the past week all images processed by Smush.it have only been reduced by about 2%.

    Has anyone else had this problem, or know what the cause is?

  • same here – after compressing with smush-it, page speed still tells me the image could be compressed by another 50%. In the past smush-it compressed perfectly. Does anybody know what the issue is?
